If you’re searching for tips to help your little one get a good night’s rest, this article is for you. Here are 8 ways for getting your little babe’s mind to drift off into dreamland: 

  1. Establish a bedtime routine. Having a consistent nighttime routine helps signal to your child that it’s time for bed and can help them relax so they fall asleep faster and more easily. Make sure you keep it short and sweet – no need to add too many extra activities!

2. Make sure you have time for loving cuddles. Kids need physical affection from their super mom, so don’t forget to give hugs and kisses before bed! Cuddling up in bed together is also a great way to bond and settle down for sleep. 

3. Do calming simple activities before bedtime. A few minutes of quiet easy activities like coloring, playing with Legos, or reading will surely help your toddler unwind and make it easier for them to fall asleep.

4. Keep the bedroom off of distractions. Don’t let toys or new technology sneak into the bedroom – this will only encourage to more playtime and less sleep!

5. Avoid stimulants before bedtime. Caffeine and sugar will only make it harder for your baby to fall asleep, so try to avoid these foods close to bedtime as much as you can.
